SS Vent Filter

GTS Filters is a leading manufacturer of Vent Filters, which are crucial for the Pharmaceutical and Dairy industries. Vent Filters are used to prevent the liquid contained in the storage tank from microbiological or contamination carried by the inlet replacement air. When filling in the tank, the air is pushed out through the vent connection; the filtration of the exhalations avoids environmental contamination. These SS Vent Filters are sized depending on the size of the storage tank, and flow rates of liquids into and out of the storage tanks. These are mounted on the top of the storage tanks and have replaceable PP or PTFE Cartridges. Vent filters are used on top of large silos which handle various powders like cement, sand, chemicals, etc. To make it easier to fill and discharge the storage tank, vent filters are used to prevent a dusty environment. These are mounted on top of silos and have a pulse jet system to continuously clean the filter cartridges. Vent Filters are also fitted on large oil tanks to prevent ingress of moisture in the tanks. Here the vent filters have suitable filters and adsorbents to solve this problem. Similar vent filters are also used on large transformers where the coolant transformer oil sees heating and cooling cycles depending on the load on the transformer.
