Non Woven Filter Bag

GTS Filters manufactures a wide range of dust collector filter bags using different non-woven filter media. A nonwoven filter medium is a porous fabric composed of a random array of fibers or filaments whose specific function is to filter and/or separate phases and components of a fluid being transported through the medium or to support the medium that does the separation. The process of manufacturing these filter media involves needle punches and finishing the surface by calendaring. We provide dust collector filter bags, which are manufactured from glass fiber, acrylic, Ryton, polyester, polypropylene, PTFE, P84, Nomex, etc. The filter bags are an important part of Dust collector systems. The air is first drawn from the workplace and passes through the filter bag, the filter bag first captures and separates the dust and suspended particles from the air, and the clean air is discharged back into the workplace or outside environment. The filter bags are expected to operate for a long process and hence need to be cleaned by pulse-jet, a short duration pulse from inside using compressed air/gas.

The media for the filter bags are made from fibers.

Dust Collector Bags are stitched depending on the method of fixing the filter bags. Generally, the Dust Collector Bags are round, envelope, oval in shape, and long. Types of Dust Collector Bags are snap band top/bottom, rubber o ring top, thick gasket top, flat bottom, cuff bottom, both ends open with strings, etc. Also, according to application, these bags are supported with a cage from inside/outside to prevent them from rupturing.

We manufacture filter bags as per drawings and/or samples received from our customers. To accommodate larger are, we offer pleated cartridges. The media is chosen depending on application and temperature consideration.
